Job Details:

* Full-time position working Monday through Friday
* Perform perioperative nursing role including preoperative patient assessments and nursing care plan formulation
* Implement operative care plans and conduct postoperative evaluation of patient response and outcomes
* Evaluate effectiveness and appropriateness of nursing care provided with proper documentation
* Assemble equipment and supplies according to sterile technique for case setup and performance
* Open sterile packs, instruments, and supplies according to sterile technique
* Prepare patients for surgery by positioning patients appropriately and preparing operative sites
* Confirm procedures and sites according to surgeon's history, physical, and operating room team
* Assist with moving patients to and from the operating table
* Perform surgical counts including sponges, sharps, and instruments with documentation on legal records
* Assist in operating room cleanup following surgery including proper disposal of used supplies and sharps
* Active RN license required
* Minimum 1 year of surgical experience required
* Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
