RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts as needed
* Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
* CNA support available at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10, also serve as sitters
* Telemetry monitored on a separate unit
* Floating required to all acute care, cardiology, and EC for acute care patient holds
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
* Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
* Acute care setting
* 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from hospital based on address listed on driver's license
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* BSN not required
* Active state license required for submission
