Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* 1 weekend shift required per 4-week scheduling period
* Up to 4 on-call shifts per month and 1 weekend on-call shift per 4-week scheduling period
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
* Experience with Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) highly preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Block schedule available pending manager approval based on unit needs
* First-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven environment offering cutting-edge technology and comprehensive surgical services.
