Open Position: PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Outpatient

Opportunity:

PTA Outpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* 1:1 patient to therapist ratio
* Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must have experience and competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance
* Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include fine/gross motor delays, balance/coordination disorders, debility/generalized weakness, neurological conditions (CVA, Parkinson's, Guillain-Barr?), lower and upper extremity conditions, spine/low back pain, post-surgical cases, cardiac conditions, gait disturbances, orthopedics, and general med/surg diagnoses
* May float between Jefferson County Hospital and DRH Health if needed
* Meditech charting system experience preferred
* BLS certification required
* Oklahoma or compact license required
* Pending license accepted

The facility operates as a swing bed facility and offers an interdisciplinary support structure including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, among others.
