Opportunity:

Outpatient OT

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 36 hours per week guaranteed
* No on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled hours
* Primarily outpatient setting with 4 hours of acute inpatient coverage in a critical access hospital on Fridays
* Must be a California licensed Occupational Therapist
* Minimum two years of occupational therapy experience preferred
* Must have Epic electronic health records experience
* Required certifications: BLS/CPR certification required
* National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
* Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred but not required
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's degree preferred
* Complete evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for patients
* Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
* Establish individualized care and discharge plans and communicate plans to appropriate parties
* Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
* Supervise assigned therapy assistants
* Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
