Job Details:

* No on-call responsibilities
* Weekend coverage requested as available, with flexed weekday off prior to Saturday shifts and weekday after Sunday shifts
* Weekend scheduling can be arranged around candidate time off requests
* Required to work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
* Limited to 1 day off request between 11/25?11/29 and 12/23?12/27
* Scrub color: Dark Grey/Charcoal
* EMR system: EPIC
* PT experience required
* Mandatory Reporter certification required
* First-time travelers welcome
* May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
* Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license required
* Active BLS certification required (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
* Skills checklist specific to Occupational Therapy required
* 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
* Driver's license required
* All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address

This facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center providing comprehensive acute care services to the surrounding region. As part of a larger health system, it offers a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment where occupational therapy professionals contribute their clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains high standards for patient care across multiple campuses.
