Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist Adult

Opportunity:

RRT - Critical Care / NICU

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts or rotating shifts, 3x12 schedule
* 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Open to nights or rotating shift schedules
* NICU experience preferred for one of the openings
* Adult Critical Care experience required
* Minimum of one year of Adult Critical Care experience required
* Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued from the National Board of Respiratory Care
* Must be currently licensed and in good standing with the Board of Registration of Massachusetts
* NICU unit consists of 40 beds, PICU consists of 10 beds with an additional transport team
* NICU staffed with two RTs when volume exceeds 9 patients, with a maximum volume of 17 patients typically
* PICU volume ranges from 3 to 9 patients
* Support provided for a pediatric general care floor with NIV therapies for pediatric patient populations
* Charting system: Cerner
* Acute care setting
* Required certifications: BLS, RRT

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive critical care program including a 40-bed NICU, 10-bed PICU, and a dedicated pediatric transport team. The facility supports a wide range of patient populations from adult critical care to neonatal and pediatric intensive care, as well as a pediatric general care floor offering non-invasive ventilation therapies. The organization utilizes Cerner as its charting system and maintains high standards of respiratory care across all critical care units.
