RN - Cardiovascular OR
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Endovascular experience required; vascular service line experience and EVAR experience required
* Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Unit systems include Epic (preferred) and Pyxis
* OR scrubs provided by the facility
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th?12th)
* Every other weekend shift required unless specified otherwise
* May float to Main OR in rare instances
* Overnight call required approximately 2 times per week after shift
* Regular day call required approximately 1 time per month (13?15 days per month)
* Approximately 2 weekend call shifts per contract period
* If 1 or 2 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Relevant skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, CABG, CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, IABP, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TEVAR, TAVR, and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* 40 orientation hours required
