Job Details:

* Work 8-hour or 12-hour shifts with day shift scheduling
* Every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* No call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* Block scheduling available based on facility needs
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* BLS certification required
* Previous travel experience not required
* Nursing home experience preferred
* Must demonstrate supervisory skills and self-motivation
* Perform medication administration, wound care, foley care, and ostomy care
* Supervise CNAs and TMAs
* Work with common diagnoses including COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF
* Day/evening shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs for 20 residents
* Night shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs for 40 residents
* Use Point Click Care EMR system and blister pack medication dispensing
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Orientation shifts provided as needed
* No clinical involvement with IVs or titratable drips

This long-term care facility is a 38-bed nursing home featuring private rooms for residents. The facility is attached to a hospital with convenient access to emergency services, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, therapy services, and walk-in clinic. The facility uses modern technology including Point Click Care EMR system and maintains an on-site pharmacy. The organization provides comprehensive care for residents with various medical conditions and emphasizes quality nursing supervision and resident care.
