RN BMT/ONC (10000210 BMT Unit)

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts with various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required based on unit needs
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1, may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
* Float between BMT/Oncology and CTU units, as well as sister facilities within the metro region based on facility needs
* Care for adult patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
* 51-bed unit (expanding from 36 beds)
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Scrub color: Navy
* Minimum 2 years of acute care BMT/Heme experience required
* Chemotherapy administration experience required
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), ONC certification
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* No on-call required
* First-time travelers accepted provided required experience is met
* Key skills required include administration of chemotherapy, CAR-T therapy, bone marrow administration, central line care, blood and blood product administration, management of cytotoxic spills, neutropenic precautions, and stem cell therapies
