RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds
* Patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
* Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
* OB experience, med-surg experience, and GYN experience preferred
* Perform and assist with post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, and ectopic pregnancies
* Care for high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization including PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and preterm labor
* Conduct fetal monitoring (NSTs) and provide GYN oncology post-op care
* Care for women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, and readmitted post-partum complications
* Work with Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring equipment
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to patient care

This birthing center specializes in comprehensive women's health and labor & delivery services, offering a dedicated unit with 29 beds and experienced nursing staff. The facility provides care for a wide range of obstetric and gynecological needs, from routine deliveries to high-risk pregnancies and post-operative surgical care. The unit utilizes modern equipment and technology to support quality patient outcomes and maintains high standards of patient-centered care.
