Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

* Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
* Call requirements include 1-2 days of call per week and 1 weekend per month
* Two technologists are on call each shift, serving as primary and secondary coverage
* Must be proficient at supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures
* Utilize single and biplane radiography units
* Perform procedures including angioplasty, carotid angiography, carotid stenting, embolization, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, vertebroplasty, nephrostomy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and more
* Support outpatient and inpatient procedures across all patient acuities and age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 25-30 cases per day across 5 procedure rooms
* Work with Siemens fluoroscopy units, Phillips ultrasound units, and IVUS equipment
* Charting performed via Cerner Powerchart; McKesson PACS utilized
* Position requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification
* Missouri license or Compact license required
* Cerner charting experience preferred

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a Trauma Level I and Stroke Center offering a comprehensive Interventional Radiology department equipped with two biplane rooms, two single plane rooms, a dedicated ultrasound room, and a CT procedure room. The facility is staffed by five Body IR physicians and three Neurointerventional physicians, supported by a full team of IR technologists. The department handles a high volume and wide variety of complex procedures serving patients across all acuity levels and age groups.
