RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work on a Labor & Delivery unit with 35 beds and a patient ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 for laboring patients, 2:1 for APU, and 2:1 for PACU
* Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and PACU recovery
* Provide antepartum care and testing with continuous electronic fetal monitoring
* Utilize equipment including Hill-Rom birthing beds, Alaris IV pump, GE core metrics FM, Panda warmer, CADD Solis epidural pumps, and NOVI wireless FM
* Document using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
* Follow Pitocin, Cervical Ripening, Magnesium Sulfate, Hydralazine, and Labetalol protocols
* Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring, BLS, ACLS, NRP
* OR circulation experience for Cesarean sections preferred
* Placement of FSE and IUPC preferred
* Required dress code: Royal Blue scrubs

This facility is a dedicated women's hospital offering comprehensive Labor & Delivery services, including a 13-bed Maternal Assessment Center for triage of pregnant patients. The unit operates with robust staffing on both day and night shifts, supported by 24/7 ancillary services including anesthesia, neonatal, laborist, and hospitalist teams.
