Opportunity:

RRT - NICU

Job Details:

* Level III or higher NICU experience required
* ICU experience required - candidates without this will not be considered
* Day shift ratio of 3-4 staff and night shift ratio of 3 staff
* Normal floor assignment of 20-25 treatments per round
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* On-call preference of one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks
* Perform nebulizer treatments, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas procedures
* Operate equipment including oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Required certifications: Current RRT credential, current Virginia State License, current BLS and ACLS

This facility is a large 430-bed hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The respiratory therapy department is well-staffed with experienced professionals supporting both day and night shifts. The unit utilizes modern equipment and technology to provide high-quality patient care, with a particular focus on critical care and NICU services.
