Open Position: RN - PACU Outpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2912.20

Opportunity:

RN - Peds PACU/Pre Op

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* 2 years of Pediatric PACU/Pre-Op experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license in hand required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* 10-bed unit treating ASA I-II patients only
* Skills include: discharge instructions, emergency medications, endoscopic/laparoscopic procedures, ENT, pain assessment and management, management of pediatric patients, malignant hyperthermia protocol, narcotics/opioid analgesics, Phase I PACU, Phase II recovery, pre-op assessment, pre-op education, pre-op medications, reversal agents, starting and maintaining IVs, urinary catheterization, RASS, and pre/post operative, endoscopy, and IR procedures
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* First-time travelers accepted
