Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* Holiday rotation required
* Weekend rotation may be required
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, and use of washers/sterilizers
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive care across multiple campuses and serves patients of all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. As a Magnet-designated institution, it upholds the highest standards of nursing and clinical excellence.
