Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a general medical/surgical unit with 15 beds
* Patient ratios of 5-6:1
* Day and night shift staffing consists of 3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* Telemetry experience required
* Phlebotomy and ACLS preferred
* BLS certification required
* Work with general med/surg equipment including bladder scanner and EKG
* EMR system: Meditech Expanse
* Floating to any med/surg or telemetry unit may be required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Ideal candidate demonstrates self-initiative, teamwork, and excellent patient experience skills

This facility is a full-service medical center located in the Clear Lake area, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The medical/surgical unit provides general care with access to modern equipment and a collaborative team environment. The facility utilizes Meditech Expanse as its electronic medical records system and supports a wide range of patient-specific procedures across its medical/surgical floors.
