Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule
* Work between the LTC/SNF location and the main hospital
* Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in the acute hospital setting
* Patient diagnoses include general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-operative orthopedics, neurological diagnoses, and general medical-surgical cases
* Therapy caseload typically averages approximately 40-45 patients
* Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience within the past 3 years required
* Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital setting experience within the past 3 years preferred
* Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system highly preferred
* Willing to cross train to SNF for intermittent coverage needs highly preferred
* Active Minnesota state physical therapy license required or willing to obtain
* Active BLS certification (AHA) required
* Scrub color requirement: Polo (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, or Chocolate Brown) or business casual attire
* All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
* Charting system: EPIC

Facility:

This acute care facility is licensed for 118 beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services to the surrounding community. The facility operates at a Level 3 trauma designation and includes both an acute hospital setting and long-term care and skilled nursing facility locations. The organization offers a structured orientation program including computer-based organizational training as well as one-on-one EPIC and department-specific orientation for new clinicians.
