Opportunity:

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, with agency staff floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak months being August and September

Facility:

This facility is a specialized intensive care unit with 12 staffed beds, providing critical care services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit supports a wide range of complex clinical procedures and patient diagnoses, with interdisciplinary support and access to advanced monitoring and treatment capabilities. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains consistent patient ratios across day, night, and weekend shifts to ensure high-quality patient care.
