Job Details:

* Night shift position on a Medical-Surgical unit
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Patient ratios of 1:5-6
* Every other weekend requirement
* Floating required within scope, with brief orientation provided on new units
* No on-call requirement
* Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
* 25-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patients with mixed medical surgical diagnoses including wound care
* Scrub color: Navy
* Documentation system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* BLS certification required
* 2 years of experience preferred; open to reviewing candidates with 1+ years of experience
* First-time travelers accepted
* Skills required include blood product administration, heparin, insulin, IV management, PICC line management, telemetry remote monitoring, wound care, tracheostomy care, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Facility:

This facility operates a 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both patients and clinical staff.
