RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule
* Minimum two years of recent nursing experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
* Provides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel
* Ensures patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Initiates and coordinates individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans
* Monitors personnel in the performance of patient care activities to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work
* Fosters an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Required certifications: AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, TNCC, MICN, BLS
* Current nursing license per state of assignment required
* Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred

Facility:

This 162-bed acute care facility has been providing care to the community since 1959. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center, offering comprehensive medical services to the surrounding region.
