RN - Outpatient Oncology

Job Details:

* Provide chemotherapy and immunotherapy services to patients in an outpatient oncology setting
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Navy blue (provided)
* BSN required
* Minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Float not required unless business needs change
* Adults patient population
* Skills required include accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, infusion pump management, starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, monitoring chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, management and disposal of cytotoxic spills, and patient and family education and support
