Job Details:

* Day shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
* 15-room/15-bed unit serving neonatal and adult patient populations
* 2 years of experience required; 3 years preferred
* First-time travelers welcome
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted)
* Scrubs provided
* Skills required include: antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, insulin drips, isolation precautions/PPE, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of external fetal heart monitoring (EFM)
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 15 beds and rooms, supporting a broad range of obstetrical care from routine deliveries to high-risk cases. The unit delivers between 100-200 births per month and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both patients and clinical staff.
