Job Details:

* Rotating shift schedule working various days of the week
* Night shift position in the Women and Infants Labor and Delivery Unit
* 19-room Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs - 5 to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required per unit needs
* Float required within the Women and Infant Unit
* May be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* Self-scheduling unit
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
* Prior travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Key clinical skills include: vaginal and cesarean deliveries, magnesium sulfate therapy, external and internal fetal monitoring, Pitocin administration, epidural anesthesia management, postpartum hemorrhage response, pregnancy-induced hypertension care, triage of obstetrical patients, and recovery of C-section patients

Facility:

This facility is a large inpatient academic medical center offering comprehensive women's and infants' services, including a dedicated 19-room Labor and Delivery unit. The unit is supported by an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. The facility maintains a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care across a wide range of obstetric procedures and high-risk deliveries.
