Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday
* One night of call per week required
* One weekend of 48-hour call (Saturday and Sunday) every 5 weeks
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
* Prior travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP
* Nevada Registered Nurse license required
* Nevada Point of Care Analyst (POCA) license required
* May be required to float to other departments up to competency level
* Required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
* Schedule may vary based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
* Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care
* Coordinate care between other professionals as needed

Facility:

This regional medical center is the only Level II Trauma Center in the area, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients per year across two emergency rooms. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital and features a leading robotic surgery institute, comprehensive brain and nerve care, and full heart and cancer services. The facility is recognized for numerous firsts in the region, including the area's first accredited heart failure center, first Institute for Neurosciences, first low-dose CT imaging, first Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, and first dedicated PET/CT scanner and Biplane Angiography technologies.
