Open Position: RN - Oncology

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2592.20

Opportunity:

RN - Outpatient Oncology

Job Details:

* Day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2-3 years of outpatient oncology experience required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
* BSN required
* California RN license required - temporary licenses not accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, Chemo ONS/ONCC certification, OCN preferred
* Charting system: Epic
* Dress code: Dark blue scrubs required
* May float within scope to meet clinic needs as required
* Care for adult patient population
* Skills required include accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, central line blood draws, central line/implanted line care, IV push administration of chemotherapy, infusion pump management, PICC line care, phlebotomy, and monitoring chemotherapy
* Additional skills include management of oncology-related conditions such as neutropenic precautions, nausea/vomiting, neuropathy, extravasation injury, anaphylaxis, and sepsis
* Experience with a broad range of cancer types including breast, lung, brain, colorectal, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and more
* Orientation hours: 40
