Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Job Details:

* Full-time position working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
* Work in an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
* Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
* Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
* Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up
* Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
* Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
* Maintain accurate patient chart documentation including prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
* Make independent decisions regarding patient care
* Must be proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services
* Must be familiar with PT billing policies and procedures including Medicare, workers' compensation, private, auto, liens, and cash pay
* Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, assist with patient transfers, and provide mobility assistance
* Must be physically mobile, including a combination of sitting, walking, and prolonged standing for 8-10 hour work days
* Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
* Degree in Physical Therapy required
* Continuing Education courses preferred
* No travel expected for this position
