Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4-6:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics with additional RNs added at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics
* Four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) within a four-week scheduling period
* No on-call responsibilities
* No floating required
* Dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
* Perform high-acuity procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, psychiatric patient care, and EMTALA transfers
* Work in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department environment
* Must have completed 2-3 prior travel assignments
* Must have 2-3 years of emergency room experience
* Experience with high-acuity, high-volume ERs and patient ratios of 5:1 preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
* EMR system: Meditech
