Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* No holiday requirement
* Standby/call requirement included
* Floating required to similar floors within Region Two facilities when needed
* First to float designation applies
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Unit handles 8-16 patients per day in ER/Trauma Center with observation capability
* Common diagnoses include Med/Surg Telemetry patients
* RNs monitor their own telemetry and read strips independently
* Manage boarding patients waiting for inpatient room placement
* In-house charge nurse, house supervisor, nurse aides, paramedics, and patient sitters available
* In-house security on site
* Lab draws performed by phlebotomy team
* House transporters handle X-ray and CT transport
* Oxygen and SVN respiratory equipment utilized on unit
* Charting performed using EPIC EMR system
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
* Unit-specific orientation is 1 day
* Required certifications: BLS, Washington State nursing license
* BSN not required
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains robust support staff including charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse aides, paramedics, patient sitters, and in-house security.
