Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* 48 guaranteed hours per week
* Work on a 36-bed Medical-Surgical unit located on the 3rd floor, South Tower
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* May float to other Medical-Surgical units based on staffing and patient care needs
* No on-call requirement
* Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue for nurses
* EMR system: Medtech
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Preferred experience: Cardiac telemetry, cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke care, chest tube management, and cardiac infusion experience
* Perform IV starts, cardiac rhythm surveillance and escalation, and post-catheterization access-site and neurovascular assessments
* Manage radial bands, chest tube care, cardiac infusions, and PCA pump care
* Conduct stroke and neuro assessments
* Operate IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, Vapotherms, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
* Provide post cardiac catheterization care including radial bands, cardiac drips, and continuous telemetry monitoring
* Ideal candidate is positive, adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced cardiac and stroke environment
