Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Med-Surg

Job Details:

* Three full 12-hour shifts per scheduling period with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
* 48-hour guarantee provided
* 30-bed Cardiac Med-Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
* Six nurses per shift with a free charge nurse available to assist
* Unit secretary available on day shift with 3 PCTs per shift
* Experience with cardiac medications and drips required, including titratable drips such as Cardizem and heparin, and non-titratable drips including dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone
* Must have cardiac/telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification skills
* Med-Surg experience required with familiarity of Meditech documentation system preferred
* Equipment used includes GE telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machines, and 12-lead EKG
* Floating policy involves rotation with other travel nurses
* Required dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG/cardiac rhythm identification
* Self-scheduling available
