Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Outpatient

Opportunity:

OT - Hand Therapy

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* See approximately 12 patient visits per day
* Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* May float to Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Bayfront facilities
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Hand clinic and adult outpatient experience preferred
* Master's degree (MS/MA) preferred
* California Occupational Therapy license required
* Required certification: AHA BLS
* Preferred certifications: CHT (Certified Hand Therapist), AOTA Hand/Upper Extremity certification
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Treat conditions including post-op orthopedic aftercare, acute fractures of hand/wrist/elbow, tendon injuries, brachial plexus injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome, and degloving injuries
* Perform custom orthosis fabrication for post-op and acute fracture patients
* Apply therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy techniques
* Operate modalities including ultrasound, TENS, and biofeedback equipment
* Utilize specialized skills including splinting, edema massage, kinesiotaping, myofascial release, and electrical stimulation
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
