Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

* Work on a busy Med Surg/Telemetry floor with a 3x12 schedule
* No on-call required, but may be required to float to other MS/Tele units or low acuity ICU
* Patient ratios of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* 36-hour orientation
* 1 year of experience required; travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Active compact or TN license required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), and NIHSS
* Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit capacity of 41 beds with a daily census of 36
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
* Key skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, wound care, tracheostomy management, and IV management

This facility operates a busy Med Surg/Telemetry floor with 41 beds and a strong interdisciplinary support system including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The facility is well-equipped to handle a wide range of adult and geriatric patient diagnoses and procedures, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment for nursing professionals.
