Job Details:

* Tuesday through Saturday schedule every week with occasional changes requiring PD approval only
* Day shift position
* See 4-6 patients per day for 30-120 minute sessions totaling 6-6.5 hours of patient care
* Work on a 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit located on the 3rd floor
* Unit staffed with 8 full-time therapists including PTs, OTs, and COTAs
* Use equipment including Hoyer lift, LiteGait, Sara Stand, standard hospital beds, and standard PT/OT equipment
* Document using Meditech Expanse EMR system
* Work with patients accepting chest tubes/JP drains, wound vacs, and trachs/PEGs
* Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
* Neuro rehab experience preferred
* Possible floating to acute care if needed
* Must work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday if during rotation
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Required certifications: State of Texas Occupational Therapy license, CPR/BLS
