RN - Cardiovascular

Job Details:

* Night shift position with 36 or 48 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and caring environments
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Provide health information directly to patients, families, and treatment teams
* Cardiovascular experience with open heart recovery training required
* Balloon pump and open heart experience required
* Epic EMR experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved AHA vendor), ACLS
* Current RN nursing license in state of practice required
