Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2694.60

Opportunity:

Operating Room - CVOR Tech 10HR - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift, 10-hour shifts
* Monday through Friday with one varying off day
* Must work Christmas week
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* On-call required 2-3 times per week
* At least 1 weekend per month required (24 hours covering Saturday and Sunday)
* Specialty focus on cardiovascular surgery cases preferred
* Required case types include adults, adolescents, and geriatrics - general and neuro surgery
* Scrub experience required
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Block schedule accommodations available
* Up to 1 pre-approved time-off request permitted
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT not accepted)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Will not float within scope to meet facility needs
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand
* Two supervisor references required
* Nicotine-free candidates only; nicotine and cotinine testing required

This acute care hospital operates 12 operating rooms and maintains 178 staffed beds, providing a full range of surgical services including cardiovascular, general, and neurosurgery. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting and offers complimentary parking for staff.
