Opportunity:

Pharmacy Technician

Job Details:

* Variable shifts scheduled as 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
* No set days assigned
* Start times vary between 6:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 10:30 AM
* Hospital experience preferred
* Epic electronic health record experience preferred
* Pull medications from stock and match medications with corresponding pharmacist-generated labels
* Maintain floor stock of nursing areas and medication areas including restocking, removing expired medications, and rotating stock
* Prepare IV medication products within applicable laws and regulations
* Check in orders from wholesaler and suppliers and distribute stock appropriately
* Fill and deliver unit dose cassettes from patient profiles to nursing units
* Process returns and back orders in a timely manner
* Work under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist
* State Pharmacy Technician license required (CA)
* Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification preferred
* High School Education/GED preferred
* Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred
