RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* 48 guaranteed hours available
* Work on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit located on the 3rd floor, Tower A
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs based on unit census, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 sitters
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 RNs when unit is at full census, 2 PCTs, and 1-3 sitters depending on patient population
* Floating to other units required based on hospital needs
* No on-call requirement
* Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
* EMR system used is Meditech
* Typical procedures include post-surgical care (cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement), pain management, and CIWA patients
* Fast-paced environment requiring high energy and outgoing personality
* Required certifications: BLS
* Must have Med/Surg or acute care experience
* Previous HCA experience preferred
