Opportunity:
RN - Emergency Department Nurse Lead
Job Details:
* Night shift position working 36 hours per week
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel
* Ensure all patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Maintain highest level of patient safety and assess and take steps to improve quality of patient experience
* Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and/or families to revise care plans
* Direct and monitor personnel in the performance of patient care activities
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Make rounds to oversee patient care needs and introduce self to patients and families
* Solicit feedback on quality of nursing services and address any concerns
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Minimum two years recent experience in field required
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
* Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred
