Open Position: RN - Nurse Lead

Opportunity:

RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* No set schedule, rotating shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 5 years of experience required
* Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required
* Charge Nurse experience required
* EPIC electronic health records experience required
* Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within last 2 years)
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required
* Master's Degree preferred
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
* Ensure all patients receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Conduct rounds to oversee patient care needs and interact with patients and families
* Initiate and coordinate care plan conferences with health team members, patients, and families
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction for patients, families, and physicians

This 162-bed acute care facility has been serving the community since 1959 and includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a county designated trauma center.
