Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times determined by manager scheduling
* Work in a 7-suite operating room handling 15-20 cases per day
* Common case types include high-volume orthopedics including total joints, general surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and eye procedures
* Cardiac cases including open heart, carotid endarterectomies, and TAVRs are performed at this facility but travelers will not be assigned to these cases
* One weekend of call per month required
* One call night per week required with a 30-minute call response time
* Holiday coverage only required in emergency situations
* No floating required
* Scrubbing preferred but not required for RNs
* Scrubs are provided
* EMR system: Cerner Surginet
* Telemetry system: Phillips
* Sterile processing technicians must use autoclave equipment including Steris and V-pro
* 2 years of OR experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* Sterile processing technicians must be certified through IAHCSMM and hold BLS certification
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
