Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Provide registered nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn settings
* Work in a Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) designated unit with babies rooming in with mothers
* Support an average of 40 deliveries per month and approximately 6 C-sections per month
* May be required to serve as charge nurse on occasion following completion of charge nurse training
* Float to other departments as needed, which may include taking a patient load or task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
* Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care required
* Required certifications: American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
* RNC-EFM certification may be substituted for AWHONN FHM certification
