Opportunity:

CNA - Skilled Nursing

Job Details:

* Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal care, and comfort under the direction of an RN or LVN
* Provide morning care including bed baths, showers, whirlpool, oral hygiene, hair care, skin care, back care, dressing residents, and changing bed linens
* Provide evening care including hand and face washing, oral hygiene, back rubs, peri-care, and freshening linens
* Assist LVN in treatment procedures and general nursing care including positioning, lifting, and turning residents
* Apply and utilize special equipment and assist residents with use of bedpan or commode
* Monitor and report reddened areas or skin breakdown to RN or LVN
* Consistently perform temperature and oxygen saturation checks for all residents upon arrival to work and report any abnormalities to charge RN
* Perform passive range of motion (PROM) and active range of motion (AROM) along with ambulation to residents as needed
* Prepare residents for meals, serve and remove food trays, and assist with feeding residents as necessary
* Assist residents with handling and care of personal property including dentures, glasses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices
* Transport residents to and from various departments as requested
* Report and record any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidents
* Maintain clean and safe environment for assigned group of residents
* May be assigned Restorative Nurse Aide (RNA) duties with additional training, which includes additional premium pay
* Skilled Nursing CNAs receive 10% weekend shift premium pay
* Multiple positions available
* Act as a CNA/RNA floater as needed
