Opportunity:

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every other weekend (EOW) required
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Level IV NICU experience required with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological neonatal conditions
* Ventilator and trach experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS
* Ohio or Compact nursing license required
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Floating within hospital and potentially to Liberty campus required
* Special equipment experience expected includes: Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Ram Can, Bubble CPAP, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, Trachs, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Oscillators, and Bili Lights and Blankets
* Patient population includes: Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Failure to Thrive, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Tracheal Esophageal Fistula, Myelomeningocele, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, Gastroschisis, Omphalocele, Genetic Defects, Hypoglycemia, Hyperbilirubinemia, Hydrocephalus, Renal Failure, Seizure Disorders, and Pulmonary Hypertension

Facility:

This facility features a Level IV NICU specializing in high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions of the neonate. The unit operates 90 beds with a daily census of 81 patients and maintains a high volume of intubated and acute infants. The facility also includes a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and more.
