Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Opportunity:

Job Details:

* Work 3 night shifts per week in a 10-bed sleep lab
* 12-hour night shifts required
* Shifts will not always be consecutive and may include split shifts
* Lab operates Sunday through Thursday; all 3 shifts will fall on these days
* Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration
* Check in patients, set up rooms, complete patient hookup, chart, and clean equipment
* Utilize computerized charting systems including EPIC, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, and ResMed S9 devices
* Maintain a 2:1 patient-to-tech ratio; patients under 3 years old require a 1:1 ratio
* Pediatric testing available in 2 of the 10 beds
* No floating to other units or departments
* No on-call responsibilities
* Will not work alone
* Minimum 1 year of sleep tech experience required
* Required certifications: RPSGT and BLS
* Scrubs: Gray

Facility:

This facility is a hospital outpatient department located in the lower level of a clinic situated off campus from the main hospital. The sleep lab features 10 beds, including 2 beds designated for pediatric testing. The facility offers a secured entrance with flat lot parking immediately outside the building. Orientation includes modified EMR training and one shift alongside another sleep tech.
