Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift hours may shift slightly due to scheduled patients, typically done by 6:00 PM on weekdays
* Call required once every 9 weeks
* On weekdays, call person stays late only if there is a late patient
* Weekend call coverage is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for GI bleeds, bio-leaks, VQs, and brain death cases
* Nuclear Medicine experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* PET/CT experience preferred but not required
* BLS certification required
* Equipment used: Siemens cameras (Symbias, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT)
* Provide care to patients in General Nuclear Medicine including routine studies such as Bones, Gastrics, Hepatos, Renals, and similar procedures
* If PET/CT trained, potential rotation through PET department
* May float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered care approach required
* Compact or Kentucky State License required
* At least 1 reference required at time of submission
