Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Varied shift times including 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* On-call only for weekends - two weekends required during a 13-week contract
* One night of on-call per week required
* Block scheduling is not available
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Night shift is closed with on-call coverage provided by 2 PACU nurses
* Day shift includes a charge nurse and usually a float nurse
* Must have Meditech EMR experience
* Required certification: ACLS
* Must have ICU and/or PACU experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered
* Perform care for patients undergoing general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, vascular, and all types of surgical procedures
* Floating to Day Surgery may be required
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
* Follows ASPAN Guidelines
* Easy-going and pleasant personality is the best fit for this unit

This is a main hospital facility featuring a 26-bed PACU unit located on the second floor adjacent to the operating rooms. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is staffed by an experienced and highly regarded team. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and follows ASPAN guidelines to ensure the best outcomes for post-surgical patients.
