Opportunity:

RN - MED SURG

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* No blocked scheduling
* 48 guaranteed hours available
* Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* 29-bed unit located on the first floor of the main hospital
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 LVNs, 2 Techs, and 1 HUC
* Acute care experience required
* Neuro med/surg experience preferred
* General medicine and orthopedics experience preferred
* Typical procedures include abdominal fluid removal and central line placement
* EMR system: Meditech
* Standard equipment used on unit
* Float to inpatient med/surg units as needed
* Required certification: BLS
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required; no sweatshirts or t-shirts, no crocs, no artificial nails, and no extreme hair colors
