Open Position: RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2166.88

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts running from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* Telemetry monitored on a separate unit
* Floating required to all acute care, cardio for medical patients, and EC for acute care patient holds
* 44-bed unit staffed with 40 nurses
* CNA support available at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10, may serve as sitters
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation: 1 week including EMR training; floor-specific orientation: 2 days
* Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on address on driver's license
* Minimum 1 year of experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 44-bed unit providing medical and telemetry services with dedicated nursing support staff. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and offers a structured orientation program to ensure travelers are well-prepared for their assignments. The organization supports a collaborative care environment with CNA assistance and access to multiple acute care and cardiology units.
