RN - OR

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with rotating call requirements
* Off-site call required; other OR staff will be in-house to provide support when on call
* Circulate cardiovascular cases in the OR independently
* 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
* 25 OR rooms in the department
* Will float to other OR specialties as needed when CV cases are not scheduled
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience
* Must have large hospital and Level 1 trauma center experience
* Epic (Optime) charting system experience required
* ND or compact state RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue color
* Must badge in and out at the facility

Facility:

This Level 1 trauma center is a large, acute care hospital operating 25 ORs and offering a wide range of surgical specialties. The facility is known for its very high-volume OR environment, particularly in cardiovascular surgery, and utilizes Epic (Optime) as its charting system. An experienced OR educator coordinates orientation and works with incoming clinicians to assess and address their specific orientation needs.
